Collibra is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join its Global Practitioner team with a focus on Data Quality. The role helps prospects and customers maximize their investment through guidance, strategic consulting, and proven best practices for building data quality programs that make data trustworthy at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advisory to executive stakeholders and program leaders on defining, building, and sustaining high-value Data Quality programs, including operating models, ownership, and business cases for trusted data.
  • Advise customers on data quality rules, quality dimensions and scoring, monitoring and alerting, and data observability practices.
  • Help establish issue detection, triage, remediation, ownership, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement workflows.
  • Guide the integration of data quality into pipelines, data products, and governance workflows.
  • Design and lead customer workshops covering data quality strategy, use-case prioritization, rule and metric design, roles, stewardship, and adoption.
  • Execute Data Quality Maturity Assessments and create phased improvement roadmaps.
  • Develop, curate, and share data quality best practices and customer success stories.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Quality Program Leader, Data Reliability or Governance Program Manager, or in an equivalent senior-level role.
  • At least 2 years of direct, hands-on experience as a key champion or stakeholder of Collibra Data Quality & Observability.
  • Practical fluency in data quality concepts, quality dimensions, rule design, DQ scoring, monitoring and alerting, data observability, and remediation workflows.
  • Consultative customer-engagement skills, including the ability to establish credibility and build long-term strategic relationships.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Copilot to solve business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
  • Ability to discover and work with customer use cases through reflective listening, problem definition, and proposed solutions.
  • Ability to read and write SQL in the context of data quality rules.
  • Understanding of data outliers, patterns, duplicates, valid values, and core data quality dimensions.
  • Ability to read and write data quality rule logic, including comparisons across columns and datasets.
  • Ability to use existing SQL function libraries in data quality rules, such as length('Collibra').
  • Ability to invoke REST API endpoints and understand basic HTTP methods, including GET and POST.
  • Ability to work with Boolean logic operators including AND, OR, and NOT.
  • Basic ability to navigate a Linux operating system and filesystem, including cd, pwd, and ls.
  • Understanding of Apache Spark at a high level is a plus.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write Python is a plus.

Measures of Success

  • Within the first month, develop a clear understanding of Collibra's Data Quality offerings and the Global Practitioner team's approach.
  • Within the third month, deliver impactful data quality workshops and maturity assessments that improve customer adoption and data reliability.
  • Within the sixth month, contribute to increased ARR, elevated CSAT scores, and reduced customer churn through strategic advisory and thought leadership.

Compensation

The standard base salary range is $168,000-$210,000 USD per year. The role is eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on factors including experience, skills, and location.

The total rewards package includes bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, a monthly Flex Fund stipend, pension or 401(k) plans, health coverage, and time off.
