Details
Collibra’s Professional Services team relies on Federal Enterprise Architects to deliver customer outcomes for federal engagements. The role works directly with customer project teams and executive stakeholders throughout the project life cycle, supporting onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewals across customers’ data maturity journeys.
This is an in-person role based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with on-site work at the customer’s facility five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead federal customer engagements by delivering mission-aligned consulting services that follow Collibra’s delivery models, engagement processes, methodologies, and artifacts while complying with applicable government regulations and security standards, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovCloud requirements.
- Provide federal agencies with tailored data governance strategies that incorporate best practices, enable knowledge transfer, and drive measurable business and mission outcomes.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Engineering, Product, Support, and Executive teams to align with federal acquisition cycles and stakeholder priorities.
- Identify opportunities to expand Collibra’s footprint within agencies by aligning product capabilities with agency mandates, modernization efforts, and compliance requirements.
- Meet or exceed utilization goals in support of federal client success, long-term program engagement, and repeatable delivery excellence.
- Contribute to the growth of Collibra’s public-sector services and licensing business through account expansion, strategic planning, and customer advocacy.
- Lead blueprinting, design workshops, and requirements-gathering activities.
- Troubleshoot and facilitate resolution of challenging client connectivity and technical software issues.
- Work with business and IT owners to identify and align on solutions to data challenges, advocating for data governance and quality.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies, with knowledge of data governance, data management, or data quality.
- Understanding of leading PaaS providers, data lakes, databases, and integration platforms commonly adopted by federal agencies.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, network-based API integration using REST/JSON, and deployment automation.
- Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and platforms.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, and Hadoop.
- U.S. citizenship, residence on U.S. soil, and an active Secret, TS, or TS-SCI security clearance.
- Familiarity with enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos.
- Hands-on experience with data quality, data pipelines, data orchestration, and/or job control tools.
- Knowledge of at least two or three of the following data management processes: data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, and business rules management.
- Proficiency in leveraging APIs through Java, Python, or a similar scripting language for custom software implementations in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data integration.
- Skill in developing functional and technical specifications.
- Experience with Collibra or comparable technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders and tailor communication to different audiences.
- Customer-focused, accountable, self-starting, and willing to learn new software skills supporting Collibra’s application stack.
Measures of Success
- Within the first month, complete Collibra’s onboarding and product certification process, become familiar with active federal customer engagements and their data maturity stages, and establish relationships with cross-functional partners.
- Within the third month, take ownership of assigned federal customer engagements, deliver consulting services aligned with Collibra’s delivery models and federal compliance standards, and identify early expansion opportunities.
- Within the sixth month, operate as a trusted advisor to federal agency stakeholders, meet or exceed utilization targets, contribute to at least one account expansion, and provide repeatable delivery artifacts or best practices to the Public Sector Professional Services team.
Compensation
The standard base salary range is $152,000–$190,000 per year. The position is also eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on factors including experience, skills, and location.
