The Bloomberg Financial Solutions department supports clients through implementation and ongoing partnership. The Portfolio Buy-Side Implementation team onboards new and existing clients to PORT Enterprise, Bloomberg's portfolio and risk management solution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client onboarding for PORT Enterprise across the Americas.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to understand client workflows, configure solutions, and ensure successful implementations.
  • Manage implementation timelines and project plans.
  • Set up data ingestion and configure workflows.
  • Support data validation, analytics reconciliation, and technical problem-solving.
  • Deliver client training.
  • Maintain regular stakeholder engagement throughout complex implementations.
  • Work with Engineering teams on technical and data-related challenges.
  • Support client engagements that may require travel.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience at a buy-side financial institution or in financial engineering or structuring.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, risk, and attribution workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of portfolio analytics across fixed income, equities, and derivatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Experience working with Engineering teams on technical and data-related challenges.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience delivering client-facing training.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred; CFA is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ownership mindset and the ability to drive issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and workflows.
  • Technical skills such as Python, APIs, and SFTP.
