Bloomberg's Supply Chain department is seeking a Technology Product Owner to support Supply Chain projects and end-to-end processes. The role partners with senior leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams, and other Product Owners to design and deliver solutions, continuously improve operations, and ensure technology and processes run effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements and strategies into a technology product evolution roadmap.
  • Own backlog prioritization for the technology Scrum team and align deliverables with stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with logistics, quality, warehouse operations, hardware asset management, and trade compliance leaders to analyze needs and align the supply chain product roadmap with strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes, solutions, data, integration points, and dependencies.
  • Solve problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analyses to meet business deliverable commitments.
  • Act as an ambassador and primary contact for supply chain product-related queries.
  • Take a hands-on approach to delivering and driving change.
  • Use data-driven methods to monitor results, address problems, and promote solutions.
  • Build relationships across internal functions and business units to drive alignment and facilitate collaboration.
  • Support planning, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and returns processes across Bloomberg's global Supply Chain organization.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting Supply Chain processes and system implementations.
  • Experience working on Agile Scrum teams; Product Owner and/or Project Management Certification is preferred.
  • Proven success communicating, prioritizing, and balancing the needs of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP MM and SAP SD in a technology landscape involving multiple API integrations.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a passion for data and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and manage change across functions within a large organization.
  • Business acumen in process design, workflow optimization, product development, and operations.
  • Ability to combine user needs with data to identify a compelling path forward.
  • Ability to work across diverse cultures and in non-hierarchical organizations.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or utilizing SAP IBP for supply chain planning processes.
  • Ability to balance bold visioning, intelligent strategy, and sophisticated execution.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to improve efficiency, challenge the status quo, and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Hands-on leadership skills, including transparency, collaboration, accountability, and the ability to connect team activities to business goals and value.
