Details
As a Business Systems Analyst on Anthropic’s BizTech team, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications and architectural decisions. You will analyze business processes, gather requirements, configure systems, and help maintain an efficient and reliable business technology ecosystem in a rapidly scaling organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of technical projects from conception through launch.
- Configure and customize business systems, including user permissions, workflows, and integrations.
- Evaluate technical vendors for business applications, including contract negotiations, service-level agreements, and performance assessments.
- Create and maintain process flows, user guides, configuration specifications, and technical documentation.
- Lead knowledge management initiatives.
- Own technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Translate complex technical concepts for business users and act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide ongoing end-user support and training.
- Monitor system performance and usage metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business systems with other platforms.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and business systems management best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role in a technology-focused environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience configuring and customizing business applications.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Excellent documentation and attention to detail.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and evaluating technology solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with API integrations and iPaaS solutions.
- Passion for process improvement and automation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Strong candidates may also have experience with enterprise business systems, database management and SQL, Agile or Scrum project management methodologies, business intelligence and reporting tools, high-growth startup environments, ITIL or other IT service management frameworks, and knowledge management systems or intranets. Relevant business systems or project management certifications are also valued.
