NVIDIA seeks an Information Security Systems Engineer to join the team in Herndon, VA to own end-to-end planning, implementation, operation, and optimization of organization-wide systems that align with United States federal laws and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features and functionality required by an organization-wide system compliant with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and implement elegant solutions to enable business.
  • Partner with vendors and solution providers.
  • Coordinate with security and compliance teams.
  • Recommend and implement optimizations.
  • Support audit initiatives.
  • Customer and incident service management (as needed).

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to attain higher clearances as needed.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a systems administrator with Azure tenant (hosted via an MSP) and/or other virtualized environments (hypervisor concepts, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, Citrix).
  • Experience with Group Policy (GPO), AppLocker, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Performance and log monitoring experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud technology solutions which enable business.
  • Familiarity with system accreditation frameworks and assessing system compliance against controls.
  • Advanced skills in data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting compliance metrics.
  • Familiarity with roles of Contract Security Officer (CSO) or Federal Security Office (FSO); ability to back up primary NPS Security Lead and obtain certifications as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Ways to stand out

  • Operating organization-wide systems compliant with NIST 800-171 / CMMC / FISMA / FedRAMP.
  • Solid understanding of export controls including but not limited to ITAR / EAR / ACS IFR.
  • Familiarity with DoD clearance processing requirements, SEAD 3, SEAD 4 and the 13 adjudicative standards, and tracking of personnel security clearances and associated investigation requirements.
  • Contract Security Officer (CSO) or Federal Security Office (FSO) with DCSA certification.
  • Host pool management, session hosts, FSLogix profiles (nice to have).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (Level 3): 136,000 USD - 224,250 USD.
  • Base salary range (Level 4): 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD.
