NVIDIA is seeking a dedicated Information Security Systems Engineer to join its team in Herndon, Virginia. The role involves end-to-end ownership of organization-wide systems, including planning, crafting, implementing, operating, and optimizing systems aligned with United States federal laws.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features and functionality required for organization-wide systems compliant with NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and implement effective solutions that enable the business.
  • Partner with vendors and solution providers.
  • Coordinate with security and compliance teams.
  • Recommend and implement system optimizations.
  • Support audit initiatives.
  • Provide customer and incident service management as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to attain higher clearances as needed.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a systems administrator with an Azure tenant hosted via a managed service provider or equivalent virtualized environments, including hypervisor concepts, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, or Citrix.
  • Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPO), AppLocker, and data loss prevention (DLP).
  • Experience with performance and log monitoring.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud technology solutions that enable business operations.
  • Familiarity with system accreditation frameworks and system compliance against controls.
  • Advanced skills with data analytics or visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI for reporting compliance metrics.
  • Familiarity with the roles of Contract Security Officer (CSO) or Federal Security Officer (FSO), including the ability to back up the primary NPS Security Lead and obtain certification as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating organization-wide systems compliant with NIST 800-171, CMMC, FISMA, or FedRAMP.
  • Understanding of export controls, including ITAR, EAR, and ACS IFR.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense clearance processing requirements, SEAD 3, SEAD 4, the 13 adjudicative standards, and tracking personnel security clearances and related investigation requirements.
  • CSO or FSO experience with DCSA certification.
  • Experience with host pool management, session hosts, and FSLogix profiles.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Level 3 base salary: USD 136,000–224,250 per year.
  • Level 4 base salary: USD 168,000–270,250 per year.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
