About the Team

Stripe’s Professional Services team works with strategic users. The team provides technical expertise to customers, helping accelerate their knowledge, solution design, and integrations with Stripe. This role is responsible for leading strategic conversations and developing plans that transform payments and financial infrastructure for leading enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and revenue on behalf of the Professional Services team.
  • Plan and execute integration engineering end to end, from high-level architecture through implementation and code.
  • Discuss technical concepts and explain how Stripe works from both a product feature and API architecture perspective.
  • Educate users and the developer community about Stripe’s value proposition, best practices, and new technical developments.
  • Serve as the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for the technical teams of the largest users and partners.
  • Keep up with new Stripe technologies and software products, and showcase technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Provide recommendations, feedback, and best practices to product and engineering teams.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in a software engineering or integration engineering role.
  • Experience with code-level debugging involving Stripe code and user code.
  • Ability to discuss technical concepts and explain Stripe’s product features and API architecture.
  • A user-first approach and empathy for users.
  • Confidence and comfort working with customers.
  • Strong generalist technical experience.
