Partner Solutions Architect, Consulting Partners

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Partner Solutions Architecture team provides technical guidance to consulting partners, including systems integrators (SIs) and global systems integrators (GSIs), to drive growth through joint solution development, education, and enablement.

The role serves as a technical counterpart to Partner Development Managers by creating technical business plans, identifying and developing service and solution offerings, and bringing partner solutions to market.

Responsibilities

• Work with strategic consulting partners, including SIs and GSIs, to build Stripe capabilities, develop solutions, and grow joint business.
• Develop repeatable horizontal and industry-specific solutions with partners.
• Support strategic pre-sales opportunities and help secure joint technical wins.
• Create and execute technical enablement plans for priority partners.
• Lead technical discussions and solution deep dives demonstrating Stripe's value to partners and their customers.
• Engage partner CTOs, engineering leaders, and other technical decision-makers to share product roadmaps, demonstrate capabilities, and define joint solution strategies.
• Guide partners through sales and solution-design processes.
• Educate Stripe sales teams on partner capabilities, solutions, and use cases.
• Develop technical content, including sample code and demonstrations, showing partners how to implement use cases and follow best practices.
• Represent partner needs internally through structured product feedback.
• Represent Stripe at partner and industry forums and contribute to joint thought leadership.
• Collaborate with Stripe Partner Advocates to drive innovation and adoption of Stripe products.
• Track and communicate progress, outcomes, risks, and opportunities through quarterly business reviews and other established forums.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role within a global software company.
• 5+ years of experience working within partner ecosystems, including SIs, GSIs, or independent software vendors (ISVs).
• Demonstrated executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to build credibility with key decision-makers.
• Strong group-facilitation skills and confidence leading customer and partner meetings.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Outstanding written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn and advise on Stripe products, including Payments, Billing, and Connect.
• Understanding of how ERP, CRM, billing, tax, and legacy systems interact within enterprise technology environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer-facing domain expertise in payments, including presenting and architecting solutions for enterprise customers.
• Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications.
• Experience with system design and building and deploying complex applications.
• Experience supporting global enterprise technical sales at a leading enterprise software company.
• Experience helping customers adopt and expand cloud-based software.
• Ability to work independently and develop a path forward under ambiguous circumstances.
• Strategic and creative thinking, proactive problem-solving, and strong collaboration skills.

Work Arrangement

The role is available either in a Stripe office or remotely from a location at least 35 miles (56 km) from a Stripe office. Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of each month in their local office or with users. Remote employees are expected to work regularly from home. Stripe does not cover relocation costs to a remote location.
