We are looking for an enthusiastic GenAI Engineer to join the Intelligent Automation Team and help meet increasing business demand, support a rapidly growing portfolio of automation, and make an impact across every business area at Booking.com. The team operates as a service provider for the entire company with a high degree of autonomy and entrepreneurship.

Develop and deploy GenAI and agentic applications at scale.
Design end-to-end, production-grade AI applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Node.js, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Build GenAI retrieval-augmented generation applications using vectors, chunking, and embedding strategies.
Apply knowledge-graph-grounded AI answering techniques to manage hallucinations.
Manage evaluations and drift for agentic applications.
Build skills and agent specifications using harness engineering.
Build custom MCPs and use out-of-the-box MCPs.
Design, implement, and maintain DAGs, operators, sensors, and connections, including retries, SLAs, and backfills.

Requirements

Hands-on experience developing and deploying GenAI and agentic applications at scale.
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks.
Data engineering experience with advanced SQL, Snowflake, and REST APIs.
Infrastructure experience with AWS services including RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
Advanced Kubernetes and Docker experience.
Experience with Git and GitHub.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Arize, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, and Prometheus.
Proficiency in core Python libraries.
Experience with secrets and authorization tools such as Vault, Passport, and Okta.
Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar IDEs.
Exposure to Terraform code for deploying AWS is beneficial.
