Details

Anthropic is hiring an IT Support Engineer to provide technical support across a mostly macOS environment and improve the employee experience as the company scales. The role involves onboarding at scale, automating repetitive work, supporting IT operations, and collaborating with IT Engineering and Security. It is based in the Dublin office with an expectation of working in the office four days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve hardware, software, networking, and account issues through the ticketing system, Slack, and in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and Atlassian.
  • Troubleshoot device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement.
  • Support access management and employee lifecycle workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, and reorganizations.
  • Handle escalations requiring cross-team coordination.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours.
  • Provide hands-on support for user technology, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers.
  • Communicate clearly with users of all technical levels.
  • Write and maintain internal documentation, runbooks, how-to guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Identify recurring support issues and opportunities for automation.
  • Streamline onboarding and other high-volume operations.
  • Contribute to automation efforts.
  • Maintain and improve device management, identity, and access systems.
  • Write Bash and Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements

  • Hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting macOS endpoints and familiarity with ChromeOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace and Slack, including workspace management, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting and administering SaaS tools.
  • Understanding of identity and access fundamentals, including SSO, MFA, and directory services.
  • Familiarity with MDM fundamentals and endpoint management concepts.
  • Basic Bash or Python scripting experience for automation.
  • Strong, methodical, and persistent troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and follow through to resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with zero-trust security concepts and endpoint security tooling.
  • Knowledge of networking basics, including DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Experience with IT projects such as migrations, tool rollouts, or process redesigns.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve personal or team productivity.
  • Interest in developing deeper technical skills and taking on more complex systems administration.

Education And Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
  • The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.
  • Required years of experience correlate with the internal job level for the position.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: €125,000–€165,000 EUR.
