SpaceXAI is seeking an exceptional iOS engineer to join a small, high-impact team creating valuable AI applications. The role combines advanced mobile engineering, product development, and collaboration with AI researchers and engineers to deliver state-of-the-art AI experiences globally.

Responsibilities

Create delightful, intuitive user experiences that redefine how people interact with AI on mobile.
Develop polished interfaces with careful attention to pixels, animations, and interactions.
Build highly performant systems optimized for speed and responsiveness.
Drive technical and product decisions.
Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to deploy state-of-the-art models globally.
Own complex features end-to-end, from architecture through App Store deployment.

Requirements

Expert knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
Proficiency in performance optimization across memory, CPU, and GPU using low-level tools.
Experience designing and shipping intuitive, pixel-perfect mobile user interfaces.
Expertise in concurrency and reactive programming with Combine.
Experience building high-throughput integrations with REST, gRPC, or AI model outputs.
Ability to own features from architecture to App Store deployment, with a focus on speed and scalability.
Deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem and related development tools.
Strong iOS development experience, particularly with Swift.
Strong product sense and the ability to empathize with users and translate their needs into valuable features.
Excellent communication, work ethic, prioritization, and execution skills.

Preferred Skills And Experience

Rust experience for backend components.
