Product Manager - Company Financials Applications & Consensus Estimates

This role will define the next generation of Bloomberg Company Financials applications and Consensus Estimates. It focuses on product strategy for Company Financials front-end experiences and establishing Bloomberg Consensus Estimates as the market standard for sell-side consensus expectations.

The role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, client workflow design, structured data, artificial intelligence, and application development. You will identify important client problems, determine investment priorities, and make product decisions across front-end engineering, AI product and engineering, and Company Financials data teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a multi-year vision and product strategy for Company Financials applications and Consensus Estimates.
• Develop and evolve the roadmap, translating strategy into investment priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Own prioritization for the front-end Engineering team, balancing client workflows, platform investment, application health, mandatory migrations, and operational resilience.
• Conduct structured discovery with clients and internal users to identify valuable, frequent, and appropriate workflow problems to solve.
• Translate client needs into product outcomes, requirements, priorities, and measurable success criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure product strategies are represented coherently across Bloomberg applications.
• Define launch and adoption plans so new capabilities become part of clients’ established workflows.
• Define product outcomes and success measures, including client behaviors and business indicators that demonstrate whether the strategy is working.
• Communicate product strategy, progress, decisions, risks, and outcomes to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Engage with front-end architecture, data dependencies, system integration, scalability, structured data, AI workflows, and application development without being required to write production code.

Requirements

• Experience balancing specific user workflows with reusable product or platform capabilities.
• Hands-on experience analyzing companies or building and maintaining company financial models.
• Technical fluency to engage credibly in discussions about front-end architecture, data dependencies, system integration, and scalability.
• Proven experience operating in complex, cross-functional environments involving Product, Data, Engineering, and domain specialists.
• Comfort operating under ambiguity and creating structure when scope, ownership, or success criteria are evolving.
• Product-management experience with complex user-facing, enterprise, data, or workflow products is preferred.
• Experience developing products for equity analysts, credit analysts, portfolio managers, investment bankers, or other financially sophisticated users is preferred.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. CFA or an equivalent financial qualification is a plus.
