Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Link team builds a consumer network for next-generation commerce, leveraging more than 300 million registered consumers across Identity, Consumer Finance, and AI-driven transactions. Link is expanding from merchant payments and a digital wallet to infrastructure for AI-agent transactions, stablecoins, and identity-driven payments.
The Product Manager will define and drive the strategy for local payment methods, creating differentiated payment experiences for merchants and consumers globally. The role operates at the intersection of payments complexity and consumer product development, bringing structure to ambiguous markets and setting direction for a strategic consumer product.
Responsibilities
- Define Link's local payment method strategy and roadmap, building localized experiences for merchants and consumers globally.
- Establish an ambitious roadmap, expanding core capabilities and leading nascent initiatives through to maturity.
- Engage directly with merchants and consumers, analyzing feedback and market trends to inform product development.
- Champion user insights within Link and represent user needs across Stripe.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate a comprehensive, frictionless experience for Link consumers across diverse payment methods.
- Drive prioritization and execution in partnership with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Launch initiatives aligned with company-wide goals.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally across consumer-facing and enterprise products.
- High taste, design empathy, and strong judgment, with the ability to advocate for high-quality consumer experiences.
- Strong data skills, including comfort with metrics, writing SQL when needed, and applying first-principles thinking.
- A desire for continuous product improvement and the ability to optimize a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases.
- An ownership mindset and willingness to do whatever is required to solve problems and delight consumers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill user problems into precise, actionable framing.
- Experience managing high-stakes external partnerships, aligning on milestones, and executing integrations end to end.
- Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
