About the Team

Treasury for Platforms enables marketplaces, software-as-a-service platforms, and fintechs to embed fully featured financial services directly into their products.

By handling bank partnerships, compliance, and regulatory requirements, the team allows platforms to launch quickly while focusing on their core business. The team also provides embedded user interfaces, managed support, and treasury features.

Current use cases include payout cards for on-demand workers, operational accounts for in-field purchases, and financial accounts for small businesses. The products serve users across the United States, including through products such as Shopify Balance and Ambrook Wallet.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive critical Treasury for Platforms infrastructure and features, including new account types, checkbooks, and accounting integrations.
• Take products from alpha to general availability across consumer and commercial Treasury.
• Work directly with platforms by joining sales calls, running product demos, and shaping integration paths.
• Develop a deep understanding of the financial management needs of diverse users and how they can benefit from treasury features.
• Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with Stripe’s broader vision and market demands.
• Drive product development from ideation to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-value user experiences.
• Work closely with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to ensure cohesive execution and alignment throughout product development and launch.
• Advocate for the Treasury for Platforms vision internally and externally, keeping key stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Serve as the technically fluent person in discussions with users and the user-fluent person in discussions with engineering.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record of launching impactful products.
• Ownership mindset and willingness to solve problems and delight consumers.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill user problems into precise, actionable framing.
• Rigorous approach to data, including comfort digging into metrics, writing SQL when needed, and applying first-principles thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in treasury services and financial account management.
• Experience building platforms with multiparty transaction capabilities.
• Experience managing high-stakes external partnerships.
• Understanding of international payments, foreign exchange, and compliance.
