Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The role owns the end-to-end product experience for Stripe Sandboxes and the broader testing platform, enabling developers and AI agents to safely build and test Stripe integrations without affecting live accounts or moving real funds.

Responsibilities

Interact daily with users, Stripe developers, and internal product teams to validate product ideas, requirements, and prototypes.
Partner with engineering and design to ship functionality for developers testing Stripe integrations, balancing impact with engineering cost and delivering measurable results.
Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Stripe Sandboxes and the testing platform.
Define key success metrics.
Work closely with user researchers to test hypotheses and understand user pain points.
Shape how testing and developer experiences adapt with agentic tooling.
Deliver platform features that provide the isolation, simulation, and observability needed to test integrations confidently.
Guide the evolution of the testing platform to support new use cases, including agentic tooling and new Stripe products.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products that solve real user problems.
Technical expertise gained through building and owning technical, developer-facing products or tools.
Demonstrated ability to define strategy, set goals, and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous concepts clearly and from first principles.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback.
Experience founding a business or startup and taking a product from 0 to 1.
A practice of personally test-driving functionality and making substantial edits to documentation before shipping.

The role is part of Stripe's Platform team and involves close collaboration with engineering, design, user research, external developers, and internal Stripe teams.
