Details

Anthropic's GTM Systems team builds and operates the systems and processes behind the company's go-to-market motion, including quoting, provisioning, customer success tooling, and the data infrastructure that connects them. The Program Manager will own cross-functional coordination across concurrent systems initiatives and ensure that each program remains tied to its intended business outcome.

The role works across Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Business Technology leadership on programs involving CPQ, deployment tracking, account data quality, and compliance-driven process change. The Program Manager will translate between technical implementation details and executive priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and drive follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Own cross-functional coordination across concurrent GTM systems programs, including CPQ, deployment tracking, account data quality, and compliance-driven process change.
  • Prepare and run quarterly business reviews for GTM systems initiatives and drive resulting decisions and follow-ups.
  • Partner with operational leads and stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Business Technology to keep programs aligned and moving.
  • Translate between technical implementation details and executive priorities so engineers understand the business context and leadership understands the trade-offs.
  • Define and track the business outcome each program is intended to drive, including how it is measured, and hold programs accountable to those outcomes.
  • Aggregate and maintain documentation, plans, and status views for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Surface risks, dependencies, and competing priorities early and drive them to resolution without direct authority over the involved teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with go-to-market processes at a software or technology company, including lead-to-cash, quote-to-cash, renewal and expansion motions, or customer health.
  • Working understanding of systems such as Salesforce, CPQ platforms, or customer success tools and how they support GTM processes.
  • Track record of owning cross-functional alignment with senior stakeholders, running recurring business reviews, facilitating discussions with competing priorities, and driving decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong program management fundamentals, including planning, tracking, dependency management, and risk management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to move between technical detail and executive summaries.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-moving, highly ambiguous environments where processes may not yet exist.
  • Excitement about Anthropic's mission to develop safe and beneficial AI systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lead and campaign automation, CPQ implementations, or customer success and health-scoring programs such as Gainsight or equivalent at a software company.
  • Experience operating in a compliance-sensitive environment, such as SOX or IPO readiness.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering or business technology teams on systems implementations, beyond working only with business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the data models behind GTM systems and comfort using data to diagnose whether a program is working.
  • Experience at a company that scaled significantly during the candidate's tenure.

Benefits

Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office spaces for collaboration. Staff are currently expected to work from one of Anthropic's offices at least 25% of the time, although some roles may require more office time.
