Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. Its platform includes enterprise search, an AI Assistant, scalable AI agents, more than 100 enterprise SaaS connectors, flexible LLM choice, robust APIs, and Enterprise and Personal Knowledge Graphs.

Responsibilities

As a SLED Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate with state, local-government, and education customers to demonstrate how Glean's AI-powered search uncovers institutional knowledge and streamlines mission-critical workflows. You will design and guide tailored technical solutions from initial discovery through successful deployment.

Partner with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with C-level executives.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the public sector.
Create and demonstrate custom environments based on customer industry and line of business.
Run and manage technical proof-of-concept cycles.
Conduct customer-facing technical discovery calls.
Lead security-focused conversations regarding Glean's security posture.
Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to deliver customer requests and represent the voice of the customer.
Develop ROI and business-justification reports and presentations.

Requirements

3–5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization, with a focus on the public sector, specifically state, local, and education markets.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Demonstrated experience partnering with Account Executives to run technical deal cycles with enterprise customers.
A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges, with a track record of overcoming technical and security objections.
Familiarity with a cloud environment such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Proficiency in Python or Java.
Ability to configure, monitor, and maintain API-based integrations.

Location

Remote, but must be based in Washington, DC.

Compensation And Benefits

Standard OTE range: $110,000–$235,000 annually.
