Details

Anthropic is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain the Salesforce platform supporting its Partnerships business, including deal registration, partner attribution, co-sell, and cloud marketplace operations. The role involves translating partner-channel requirements into scalable Apex, Flow, and integration solutions while using Claude and internal AI development tooling as part of the development and code-review workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Salesforce infrastructure for deal registration workflows, channel-conflict detection, partner attribution, and partner account hierarchies.
  • Develop and maintain Apex triggers, services, selectors, batch and queueable processes, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation using established Apex standards and trigger frameworks.
  • Build and own integrations between Salesforce and partner ecosystem systems, including AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud marketplaces, PRM tools, and middleware.
  • Configure partner-facing portals with appropriate sharing, visibility, and license-model designs.
  • Use Claude and internal AI development tools as part of the build and code-review workflow.
  • Work with Revenue Operations analysts to ensure data-model decisions support partner performance reporting.
  • Partner with DevOps on sandbox strategy, source control, peer review, release management, and deployment through SFDX and metadata tooling.
  • Ensure suitable controls, test coverage, and documentation are maintained.
  • Resolve problems independently and propose scalable solutions in a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow in a production organization.
  • Experience building or maintaining Salesforce partner or channel functionality, such as deal registration, partner portals, attribution models, or co-sell opportunity management.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms through REST or Bulk APIs, middleware such as Workato or MuleSoft, or direct callouts.
  • Fluency with SFDX, source-controlled metadata, and sandbox-to-production release processes involving peer review.
  • Active experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or similar, including the ability to explain how their output is guided and verified.
  • Basic SQL skills and comfort working with a data warehouse.
  • Effective communication with sales, partnerships, finance, and engineering stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
  • Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform constraints, including governor limits, bulkification, sharing and visibility, and recursion control.
  • Cloud marketplace integration experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with partner-specific integration platforms such as Workspan.
  • Experience scaling Salesforce in a high-growth go-to-market environment.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $270,000–$345,000 USD.

Work Arrangement and Benefits

  • This is a location-based hybrid role; staff are expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
  • Anthropic sponsors visas where possible and makes reasonable efforts to support visa applications, although sponsorship is not available for every role or candidate.
  • Benefits include competitive compensation, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office collaboration spaces.
