Details

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through production deployment. The company operates large-scale infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and applied AI.

As a Senior Data Center Technician, you will own day-to-day data center operations, ensuring availability, safety, and reliability. You will act as a hands-on expert and escalation point, working closely with facilities, network, and engineering teams in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, racks, and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents to minimize impact.
  • Lead and execute maintenance, installations, and infrastructure changes.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for on-shift issues.
  • Monitor systems through DCIM/BMS and respond to alarms.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and documentation.
  • Enforce safety, security, and compliance standards.
  • Mentor junior technicians and raise operational standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data center or critical infrastructure operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with power, cooling, and server hardware.
  • Experience with power systems, including UPS, generators, PDUs, and switchgear.
  • Experience with cooling systems, including CRAC/CRAH systems, chillers, and airflow optimization.
  • Experience with server and rack-level hardware.
  • Proven incident troubleshooting experience in high-availability environments.
  • Ability to work shifts in a 24/7 on-site role, including nights and weekends.
  • Clear communication and a strong ownership mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale or hyperscale data centers.
  • Familiarity with Tier III or Tier IV data centers.
  • Experience with DCIM/BMS.
  • Relevant certifications such as CDCP/CDCS, BICSI, CompTIA, or OEM certifications.

Working Conditions

  • On-site, shift-based work, including nights and weekends.

Compensation

Competitive compensation ranging from $115,000 to $150,000 OTE, including base salary and bonus.
