NVIDIA's Financial Services Engineering group architects the financial infrastructure powering NVIDIA Cloud Services, including GeForce NOW. The team owns the end-to-end monetization pipeline, including global payment capture, service usage processing, tax engines, financial ledgers, and compliant invoicing.

The Financial Systems Engineering team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build foundational systems for NVIDIA's high-performance financial infrastructure. The role focuses on scalable cloud services that integrate with diverse financial systems and enable operational automation across global financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect event-driven pipelines using Kafka and develop data models that ensure transactional integrity through ACID principles for invoices, payments, adjustments, and other commercial events.
• Automate scalable ETL processes and refactor next-generation data architectures to improve quality, security, and coverage for rapidly growing business demands.
• Collaborate across teams to codify business processes into self-measuring systems.
• Debug complex challenges and ensure the reliability of financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of industry experience delivering scalable financial services.
• Expertise building scalable REST APIs backed by PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, Scala, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience architecting robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and dbt.
• Experience managing large-scale Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg tables.
• Deep understanding of high-scale distributed systems, Linux, and cloud infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing data ontologies or semantic data layers that map disparate raw data into interconnected objects with defined properties and functions.
• Experience managing financial or ERP data at internet scale while ensuring transactional integrity and zero data loss.
• An Infrastructure as Code mindset, with experience building self-healing systems in distributed environments.
