Details

Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Grafana Data Source Plugins squad. The team develops and enhances data source plugins that retrieve data for Grafana dashboards and supports their operation and reliability in Grafana Cloud.

Responsibilities

Build and improve Grafana plugins that integrate third-party services and databases into Grafana.
Support the operations and reliability of data source plugins in Grafana Cloud.
Suggest and implement process improvements.
Integrate data sources with agentic workflows such as Grafana Assistant.
Provide technical support during customer escalations.
Collaborate closely with the Grafana Division.
Work with data source plugins including Prometheus, Loki, Infinity, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS CloudWatch, and ClickHouse.
Participate in an on-call rotation and perform operations and SRE tasks.

Requirements

Solid experience with Golang and TypeScript.
Experience with Kubernetes and microservices.
Experience writing clean, robust, performant, and maintainable software.
Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks.
Ability to transform ideas into working code, design solutions, incorporate feedback, and deliver large projects.
Self-driven approach with a bias toward action and continuous feedback.
Customer-focused mindset and passion for creating intuitive products.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Comfort working in a remote-first company.

Bonus Points

Experience using Grafana and Grafana Data Sources.
Expertise in one of the underlying databases supported by Grafana.
Strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders.
