Details
Reddit is seeking a talented iOS Engineer to join the Community Builders organization. The role involves building and enhancing products, developing features end to end, and ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with community builder needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about tackling complex challenges in a fast-paced, nimble environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and services while ensuring system performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
- Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design documents and provide feedback on product specifications and mockups.
- Define standards that improve developer workflows and recommend best practices.
- Coach and mentor engineers to support their professional development.
- Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities.

Compensation
The base salary range is $190,000–$267,000 USD per year. The position is also eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units and, depending on the position offered, may be eligible for commission. Reddit provides additional benefits to U.S.-based employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) program with employer match, vacation time, and parental leave.
