Details

Reddit is hiring a Product Manager to own Catalogs and Applied Product Knowledge Graph (PKG) end-to-end. The role focuses on turning the Product Catalog into a platform that improves return on ad spend (ROAS) and powers product discovery across Reddit. You will work at the intersection of advertiser tooling, product and content understanding, and user experiences, partnering with the Catalogs engineering team, Ads Content Understanding team, and organic Shopping team.

Responsibilities

  • Reduce advertiser onboarding friction by improving error handling, automating feed-issue resolution, improving product ID and item-group ID matching, and developing longer-term URL-to-catalog automation.
  • Establish the foundations of a Reddit Merchant Center.
  • Drive catalog innovation, including LLM-based catalog enrichment, catalog-driven ad overlays, Catalog Insights, and catalog diagnostics.
  • Own the 1–3 year vision and roadmap for Catalogs and Applied PKG across ROAS Drivers, Demand Enablers, Adoption Enablers, and Shopping at Reddit Enablers.
  • Unlock advertiser demand through Limitless Catalogs, regional metadata for EMEA, and Shopify integration.
  • Build the Universal Catalog and Applied PKG by connecting ad catalogs to the Product Knowledge Graph and organic product mentions on Reddit.
  • Define the catalog-to-PKG interface, how scraped products augment advertiser-supplied catalogs, and how commercial-intent content understanding supports dynamic product ad performance and organic discovery.
  • Define and own metrics including catalog-driven ROAS, catalog coverage of product views in PKG, onboarding time, and revenue unlocked by new capabilities.
  • Build dashboards, establish goal-setting processes, and hold the team accountable.
  • Represent Catalogs and Applied PKG in Shopping leadership reviews, cross-functional working teams, and executive readouts.
  • Communicate effectively with product managers, engineers, sales, and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AdTech, retail media, marketplaces, or shopping/e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with product knowledge graphs, product entity resolution, or product taxonomies at scale.
  • Fluency with AI, including scalable agentic workflows, AI-based data analysis, and task automation.
  • Evidence of building AI products, either professionally or as a hobby.
  • Experience shipping product feed ingestion, catalog management, product knowledge graphs, retail media catalogs, or comparable systems.
  • Familiarity with product feeds and failure modes in Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager, Pinterest, or TikTok Shop.
  • Ability to scope and ship minimum viable products and operate and improve production systems.
  • Experience leading initiatives across three or more engineering teams as well as PMM, Sales, and Operations.
  • Strong executive communication and the ability to earn trust with senior engineers.
  • Ability to make decisions with imperfect information, assess risk and reward, and recover quickly when decisions are incorrect.

Nice to Have

  • Machine learning fluency and experience shipping ML-powered products in advertising, content personalization, retrieval, ranking, or content understanding.
  • Understanding of retrieval, candidate selection, ranking signals, and tradeoffs between LLM-derived and traditional features.
  • Experience with LLM-driven content understanding or feature engineering.
  • Experience shipping for SMB platform channels such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
  • Experience with multi-region catalog and pricing systems, including regional metadata, currency, and localization.
  • Experience building or operating a Merchant Center, catalog QA tool, or advertiser-facing data console.

Benefits

  • 100% remote opportunity, with four office locations available for hybrid or onsite work preferences in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
  • Competitive salary and equity options.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Workplace perks, including a home-office setup stipend.
  • 401(k) matching.
  • Flexible vacation policy.
  • Paid parental leave of four or more months.
  • Family planning support.
  • Paid volunteer time off.
  • The role may be eligible for restricted stock units and, depending on the position offered, commission.
  • Interviews may be recorded, transcribed, and summarized by AI, with an option to opt out before scheduled interviews.
