Details

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team at Bloomberg is building the next generation of internal platforms that power its global workforce. This hands-on engineering role focuses on evolving and scaling the Workday HCM ecosystem through integrations, Extend applications, AI, and automation.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations and Extend applications supporting critical HR processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Own end-to-end delivery, from design and development through deployment and optimization.
Incorporate AI and automation into ERP workflows and processes.
Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability across the Workday platform.
Develop solutions used by a global workforce at scale.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Workday developer.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Extend, EIB, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Connectors.
Solid experience with integration technologies including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
Background in systems engineering, specifically enterprise application development.
Strong understanding of HR systems and business processes.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset focused on delivering results.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Linux.
Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, and SQL is desirable.
