Details
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Technical Program Driver to lead efforts in crafting innovative compute software solutions for cloud service providers, automotive customers, OEMs, enterprise customers, academic institutions, start-ups, and industry partners.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Software Development Managers, engineers, Product Marketing, Customer Program Management, Quality Assurance, and logistics personnel to establish and implement streamlined processes for developing advanced compute software solutions.
- Work with customers and Customer Program Managers on software issues, including technical feedback from OEMs, cloud service providers, and partners.
- Continuously improve and maintain processes related to enterprise support.
- Lead status meetings, proactively address challenges and customer concerns, and serve as the central point of contact for release schedules and the prioritized release plan of record.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and drive software objectives.
- Collect requirements, help define priorities, and drive planning and scheduling across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain schedules, identify risks, and formulate risk management strategies for multiple parallel workstreams.
- Enhance product development and software release processes in collaboration with engineering management to optimize development workflow and engineering efficiency.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks and ensure customers are kept informed about issue statuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners across time zones to resolve customer issues and oversee customer releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of proven experience in a similar or related role, including 5+ years driving software or hardware customer escalations.
- Hands-on experience with software development for hardware platforms.
- Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex products to customers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Proven ability to creatively resolve technical and resource issues.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically and build consensus to ensure program success.
- Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, including experience with widely adopted configuration management tools, productivity-enhancing tools, and automation processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with Agile software development tools.
- Solid understanding of operating systems, datacenter servers, automotive principles, and standards.
- Experience developing or managing software applications, system software, or firmware stack programs.
- Experience coordinating activities across hardware, firmware, and software applications.
- MBA or PMP certification or training.
Compensation And Benefits
The base salary range is USD 168,000 to USD 258,750, determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
