Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. This customer-facing role supports worldwide growth by educating prospective and existing customers, delivering technical demonstrations and evaluations, and partnering with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering. The role focuses on Grafana Cloud, observability, open-source technologies, and metrics and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

Join a high-growth team working together to solve technical and customer problems.
Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagement and help close high-velocity opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems identified during interactions.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement materials.

Requirements

Ideally located on the West Coast.
At least 5 years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership in a startup environment with varied and complex responsibilities.
Ability to work and collaborate with an international, remote-first team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to articulate Grafana's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and bringing creative solutions to customers.
A technical mindset and desire to continue growing technically.
Candidates may have previous post-sales or engineering experience or may be recent coding bootcamp graduates.
Self-motivation, initiative, and creativity.

Compensation & Rewards

United States on-target earnings range: $204,000–$254,000 per year.
Compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset.
Includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
