Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. The team consists of customer-facing product experts who support global growth by educating current and potential customers, delivering technical demonstrations and evaluations, and partnering with Sales to qualify and close opportunities. The team also provides feedback from customers to Product Management and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-growth team working to solve technical and customer problems.
• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own technical customer engagements and help close high-velocity opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on Grafana products and the competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems identified during interactions.
• Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create public and internal enablement materials.

Requirements

• Ideally located in the Greater New York City or Boston area.
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills in a startup environment with varied and complex responsibilities.
• Ability to work and collaborate with an international, remote-first team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to articulate Grafana's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
• Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and creating solutions for customers.
• A technical mindset and desire to continue growing technically.
• Candidates may have post-sales or engineering experience or be recent graduates of a coding bootcamp.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and creativity.

Compensation & Rewards

The United States on-target earnings compensation range is $204,000–$254,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skill set. The role includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
