Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its customer-facing Solutions Engineering team. The role focuses on educating prospective and existing customers, delivering technical enablement, supporting complex opportunities, and translating customer requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology. The position is remote in India, with a preference for candidates based in Mumbai.

Grafana Labs develops Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform built on open-source technologies and open standards. The company operates as a 100% remote organization with team members across more than 40 countries.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical expertise, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, providing feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.
Listen to prospects and customers, understand their requirements, ask effective questions, and translate requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.
Serve as a bridge between Grafana Labs' engineering teams, customers, and Sales team.

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to handle varied and complex assignments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with remote-first internal teams and customers worldwide.
Ability to clearly articulate the company's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Ability to solve technical challenges and develop creative customer solutions.
A technical mindset and desire to continue growing technically.
Candidates based in Mumbai, India are preferred.
