The Solutions Engineering team consists of customer-facing product experts who support global growth by educating prospective and existing customers through demonstrations, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement. Solutions Engineers partner closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities and serve as a communication channel between customers and Product Management and Engineering.

A Solutions Engineer listens to prospects and customers, understands their requirements, asks questions to gather relevant information, and translates those needs into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana Labs' value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagements and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Ability to handle varied and complex assignments requiring judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for collaboration with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers.
Ability to articulate the company's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Ability to solve technical challenges and develop creative customer solutions.
A technical mindset and desire to continue developing technical skills.
Must be located in Israel.
