Details

Grafana Labs is hiring a customer-facing Solutions Engineer to serve as a product expert for Grafana Labs' observability platform. The role supports worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers through product demonstrations, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement. The Solutions Engineer partners closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams and translates customer requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana Labs' value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagements and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.
Listen to prospects and customers, understand their requirements, ask the right questions, and translate requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills, with openness to various and complex assignments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for collaborating with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers.
Ability to clearly articulate Grafana Labs' value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
A passion for solving technical challenges and developing creative customer solutions.
A technical mindset and desire to grow technically.
Must be located in the Netherlands.

Bonus Points

Experience with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
