Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a customer-facing product expert for Grafana Cloud and related observability technologies. The role involves educating prospective and existing customers through demonstrations, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement. The Solutions Engineer partners closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to translate customer requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical expertise, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.
Listen to prospects and customers, understand their requirements, ask the necessary questions, and translate requirements into Grafana Labs solutions.

Requirements

At least 5 years of technical pre-sales experience.
Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills, with openness to complex assignments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for collaboration with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers.
Ability to clearly articulate the company's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Ability to solve technical challenges and develop creative customer solutions.
Technical mindset and desire to continue growing technically.
Fluency in Arabic.
Must be located in Spain.

Bonus Points

Experience with open-source technologies or the metrics and monitoring space.
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.

Compensation & Benefits

Spain OTE compensation range: EUR 107,250–127,650 per year.
