Details

The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team is seeking engineers to develop and productize NVIDIA's automotive platform. This role focuses on integrating vehicle subsystem work into the autonomous driving DRIVE Software platform while meeting NVIDIA and automotive standards and guidelines. You will collaborate with multifunctional engineering teams and engage directly with customers to customize, integrate, and productize solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded real-time system software that provides safety services for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
  • Optimize solutions to meet product, safety, and system-level requirements and key performance indicators.
  • Follow development rigor to achieve overall product safety goals and create work products aligned with functional safety processes.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and integration teams to define and drive system-level architecture and requirements.
  • Engage directly with customer teams to customize, integrate, and productize solutions.
  • Analyze sophisticated technical issues and independently drive resolution across multiple teams.
  • Work with RTOS, Classic AUTOSAR, QNX/Linux operating systems, and real-time embedded environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 or more years of experience in a related field.
  • Detailed experience with the Classic AUTOSAR software stack and associated development tools.
  • Excellent C and C++ coding skills, along with proficiency in scripting languages.
  • Strong experience with software debuggers, analyzers, and trace loggers.
  • Deep understanding of SoC principles, system architectures, operating systems, device drivers, memory management, multithreading, and real-time scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, time management, and task prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience and experience using the AUTOSAR stack.
  • Experience with real-time embedded environments, RTOS, and related tools.
  • Experience with CAN and related tools; RADAR and LiDAR experience is a plus.
  • Experience providing on-site and off-site customer support.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 184,000–287,500 per year, determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
