NVIDIA is seeking a creative and experienced Technical Program Manager to drive robotics initiatives spanning foundation models, simulation-to-real workflows, and edge deployment pipelines. The role owns program execution across research, engineering, and product teams to ship robotics solutions at scale. NVIDIA combines simulation through Omniverse, world models through Cosmos, foundation models through GR00T, and compute to bring general intelligence to robots.
The role is based in Santa Clara, California, and requires on-site work at least two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program execution for robotics software initiatives, including requirements, schedules, risk mitigation, and releases.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across product, simulation, model training, deployment, on-robot validation, and related areas.
- Provide an independent technical perspective by challenging assumptions, identifying architectural risks, and grounding decisions in sound engineering principles.
- Drive process improvements to the product lifecycle and lead release planning.
- Facilitate technical reviews, triage blockers, and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify and proactively manage multifunctional dependencies and risks.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management delivering software products.
- Hands-on robotics experience in one or more of the following areas: robot learning, simulation-based development including synthetic data and domain randomization, model deployment to edge or robot platforms, robot evaluation and benchmarking, or sensor integration.
- Strong understanding of foundational software development concepts and Agile methodologies.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-team programs with competing priorities.
- Technical depth sufficient to evaluate engineering proposals, ask probing questions, and provide informed feedback beyond tracking schedules.
- Ability to think long term and build consensus to make programs successful.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in software development or robotics engineering.
- Direct experience with Isaac Sim, Isaac ROS, Omniverse, or equivalent simulation and SDK tools.
- Familiarity with machine learning training pipelines, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning workflows.
- Background in autonomous vehicles, manipulation, or mobile robotics platforms.
- Experience navigating hardware/software co-development cycles.
Compensation and Benefits
- Level 4 base salary: USD 168,000–258,750 per year.
- Level 5 base salary: USD 200,000–322,000 per year.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
- Applications will be accepted at least until August 4, 2026.
- NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive work environment.
