NVIDIA is seeking a Site Lab Operations Manager for the Systems Product Team to manage lab space allocation and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a complex engineering environment supporting datacenter products. This role involves coordinating lab capacity, leading small infrastructure projects, tracking physical assets, conducting safety reviews, and proactively anticipating engineering team needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical and non-technical), managers, and partners to provide lab capacity and services supporting engineering teams.
- Manage lab space allocation for R&D, product development, thermal-mechanical, software, and hardware engineering projects.
- Gain a high-level understanding of engineering teams' operations, equipment needs, and facility requirements.
- Serve as a "lab space broker" to allocate lab capacity efficiently and fairly; lead small-scale lab infrastructure projects, moves, and upgrades.
- Anticipate engineering team needs using operational knowledge and experience.
- Maintain and track physical space using web-based tools, inventory sheets, and visual layouts.
- Conduct safety reviews and identify opportunities to improve operational safety and efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers and support services; solicit quotes and drive solutions to closure.
- Travel occasionally within the Bay Area for site visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an innovative product development environment.
- Background in engineering with strong experience of lab equipment and technology and junior management experience.
- Corporate real estate experience in a high-tech setting managing infrastructure projects.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage with stakeholders and leadership.
- Highly motivated, quick learner, adaptable to change, and interested in exploring new technologies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and drive solutions to closure.
- Ability to navigate conflicting objectives and negotiate with patience.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranges by level:
- Level 3: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD
