Responsibilities

Contribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling, processes, and culture.
Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions.
Make appropriate tradeoffs between reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.
Innovate, design, and implement software solutions that improve infrastructure, resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale.
Uphold high engineering standards and improve the overall codebase and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
At least two years of work experience in software development.
At least two years of experience designing and deploying scalable infrastructure within major public cloud environments, specifically using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with cloud-native networking, compute instances such as EC2, and storage solutions supporting global, high-availability financial services.
Experience developing software in Go and Ruby to build and maintain robust distributed systems and internal tooling.
Experience writing clean, maintainable code to automate infrastructure management and develop core services powering microservice architectures.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies for managing large-scale server fleets and microservices.
Experience designing orchestration strategies that ensure system reliability, efficient resource allocation, and seamless deployments across distributed environments.
Experience designing, building, and debugging high-scale distributed systems using open-source tools; analyzing complex system architectures; identifying performance bottlenecks; and implementing data-driven optimizations to improve latency, resiliency, and cost-performance ratios.
