Details

Glean Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer to help build a software-based platform that can scale indefinitely, including scalable enterprise search solutions. The role works across distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces to deliver secure, high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

Build large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems, preferably with knowledge of performance benchmarking tools and performance tuning on Linux-based systems.
Perform thorough peer code reviews covering interface design, code quality, and testing strategies.
Understand customer requirements and implement them in the company’s solutions.
Work closely with product teams to ensure features satisfy customer requirements and are delivered effectively and with high quality.
Implement data ingestion pipelines to retrieve data from enterprise data sources and build secure search indexes using C++, Java, Python, or Go.
Design and implement user interfaces for searching enterprise content.
Design APIs for building other search-based applications.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related field. Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
Experience working on infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications, building full-stack applications spanning front ends, REST APIs, and application servers, or training and productionizing machine learning or information retrieval systems.
Experience with C++, Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, distributed systems, machine learning, PyTorch, CI/CD pipelines, and GCP.
The interview process includes a brief AI-focused exercise or discussion covering how candidates think about, design, and use AI to drive impact.
