Responsibilities

Drive technical innovation to support automation and efficiency for Stripe users and internal teams.
Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand operational challenges and implement robust technical solutions.
Design and implement features to support Stripe's global 24/7 support operation.
Write high-quality, well-tested code with appropriate monitoring and observability.
Support initiatives by sharing compelling data and measuring outcomes to demonstrate successful execution.
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Partner with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of software development experience.
At least 3 years of experience building production software systems with well-tested code.
Front-end and back-end software development experience.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining functional applications, including web-based agent tooling platforms, case management systems, and routing systems.
Experience integrating and maintaining multiple systems and processes, including cloud-based infrastructure platforms, database systems, API gateways, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience developing software solutions that support internal operations or customer workflows.
Experience writing software in Ruby, React, or TypeScript.
Experience building and maintaining high-throughput API services.
Experience improving system performance and operational efficiency.

Compensation

Base salary: $161,637.00–$213,800.00 per year.
Additional benefits may include equity, a company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
40 hours per week.
100% telecommuting permitted.
