Details

Bridge is creating a stablecoin-based payments platform to simplify global money movement. The platform enables faster, cheaper cross-border payments, access to U.S. dollars through virtual accounts, and global payouts infrastructure.

As one of the first blockchain engineers at Bridge, you will work autonomously on globally scaled, greenfield projects that provide customers with new financial products and capabilities.

Responsibilities

Build multi-chain hot wallet infrastructure to support payment reliability.
Build smart contracts to increase hot wallet payment throughput.
Build a smart contract platform for issuing custom stablecoins across EVM-compatible blockchains, Solana, Stellar, and other networks.
Build smart contract monitoring systems to detect anomalous events, particularly those related to minting and burning.
Design and develop blockchain-based applications and protocols supporting stablecoin transactions and integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement and maintain secure and efficient smart contracts.
Thoroughly test and debug blockchain applications.
Optimize blockchain performance and scalability.
Stay current with blockchain technology developments and integrate relevant advancements into Bridge's solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Contribute to the architecture and design of blockchain systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
The role is open to engineers at various levels of seniority; generally, candidates should have 5 or more years of experience.
Strong proficiency with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum and Solana.
Experience developing smart contracts using Solidity or other relevant languages.
Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain protocols.
Experience with decentralized finance and stablecoins is highly desirable.
Knowledge of blockchain development security best practices.
Strong ownership and the ability to lead and influence product design and direction.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Growth mindset, curiosity, and willingness to explore unfamiliar areas.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear technical documentation.
