Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Solutions Architecture team works with large, complex users to understand their technical requirements and map them to Stripe technology.

The role partners with Sales to technically qualify new business opportunities, demonstrate the capabilities of the Stripe Platform, and design robust technical solutions for payment transactions, money movements, and financial operational processes. The successful candidate will combine technical depth with business consulting skills, working with users to create Stripe solutions for complex, mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

Engage with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical leaders at key users to share technology roadmaps, demonstrate innovations, and define solution strategies.
Lead technical discussions and solution deep dives with users regarding the value Stripe can provide.
Advocate for customers internally, ensuring their needs are represented with product engineering and influencing product direction and priorities.
Plan and participate in quarterly business reviews, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with account teams on detailed account planning.
Create technical content, including reference architectures and demos, for users.
Speak as a thought leader at industry conferences.

Requirements

At least 4 years of work experience or equivalent across roles such as pre-sales, technical architecture, application architecture, systems architecture, integration, technical consulting, application delivery, or technical engineering, including at least 1 year in a customer-facing pre-sales role.
Strong technical knowledge of software architecture, breadth across technology stacks, and deep hands-on skills.
Ability to discuss technical concepts and explain how they work from both product feature and API architecture perspectives.
Ability to write code.
Experience working with large enterprise customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to large audiences in both Italian and English.
Experience with payments systems and e-commerce solutions is preferred but not required.
