Grafana Alerting operates at the core of the Grafana open-source project. The backend-focused team works closely with customers and Grafana Cloud teams to make Alerting work on-premises and at infinite scale in the cloud. Recent projects include building distributed systems for Prometheus-based alert ingestion and delivery, unifying alerting setup and delivery across Grafana and Prometheus-based alerts, and scaling evaluation of Grafana-managed alerts to more than 500 evaluations per second in production.
