Bring your consulting toolkit and help turn Data & AI strategy into measurable change within ABN AMRO. As part of the Governance & Strategy team in the Central Data & AI Office, you will work with the Chief Data & AI Officer and senior leaders to structure ambiguous questions, develop strategic perspectives, create executive alignment and translate decisions into roadmaps, operating models and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead or shape strategic assignments at the intersection of business strategy, data, AI, technology, risk and regulation.
• Turn complex analysis into clear choices, recommendations and decision-ready narratives for senior leadership.
• Define enterprise direction, capability roadmaps and operating models for responsible Data & AI adoption.
• Mobilise multidisciplinary teams across business lines, data domains, technology, risk, legal and compliance.
• Assess market, technology and regulatory developments and translate them into implications for ABN AMRO.
• Help convert strategic decisions into priorities, ownership and executable change.
• Develop strategies and capability roadmaps for generative and agentic AI.
• Design accountabilities and operating models for strategic Data & AI capabilities.
• Develop investment cases and transformation roadmaps for responsible use of unstructured data, including documents, text, voice and images.
• Support innovation while meeting regulatory, ethical, security and risk requirements.

Working Environment

You will work within the Central Data & AI Office, Governance & Strategy, collaborating with CDAO teams, IT, architecture, data domains, business lines, CISO, legal, compliance and risk.

Requirements

• Significant experience in strategy or management consulting, corporate strategy or a comparable internal advisory role.
• A track record of structuring ambiguous enterprise questions and translating analysis into clear executive choices.
• Experience advising senior decision-makers and aligning stakeholders with different perspectives.
• Relevant experience in Data, AI, analytics, data management or data governance.
• Ability to translate strategic recommendations into roadmaps, operating models and executable change.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide Data & AI initiatives is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK, Data Mesh, BCBS 239 or the EU AI Act is helpful.
• A Master’s degree or equivalent academic and professional experience is helpful.
• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, curiosity and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to communicate with executive, business and technical audiences, build alignment and challenge assumptions constructively.
