Responsibilities

  • Become a Sentry product expert, understanding all product capabilities and how customers use the product.
  • Own the Sentry University virtual learning platform, including curriculum preparation, learning-unit development, content creation, and overall user experience.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive training strategy to help customers quickly adopt the platform and accelerate time to value.
  • Build and operationalize a certification program for customers, partners, and employees.
  • Design and own end-user training content for customer success managers and sales engineers to deliver to customers and prospects.
  • Create and deliver instructor-led training through virtual group sessions and in-person workshops.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to track lead progress within Sentry University.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to keep enablement materials current and aligned with company branding, messaging, and design standards.
  • Develop onboarding and ongoing technical enablement programs for customer-facing technical teams on topics including logging, monitoring, and cloud technologies.
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure training-program adoption and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the application monitoring field.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing and delivering technical training.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with technical and business audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Significant experience working with customers and partners both remotely and in person.
  • Ability to develop structured training plans, actions, and measurable metrics.
  • Experience using various learning tools and media to optimize learning.
  • Strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and related technologies.
  • Interest in developer tools, open source, and software development.
