Responsibilities
- Support decision-making boards with structured problem statements and clear scenarios/options.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to product owners and engage with key stakeholders in the execution of our platform strategy.
- Create insight, oversight, and control over end-to-end change.
- Ensure there is a clear roadmap and up-to-date and relevant overviews of status, decisions, impediments, and dependencies.
- Analyze priority conflicts, strategic transition options, and dilemmas, and provide advice to decision-makers on the optimal way forward.
- Address dependencies across initiatives to ensure an integrated approach in realizing our strategic ambitions.
- Initiate and facilitate deep dives to ensure clarity on objectives and the required collaboration across the organization.
- Align initiatives with the quarterly business review portfolio planning.
- Obtain synergies by sharing relevant insights into deliverables of teams throughout the organization across initiatives and departments.
- Contribute to our strategic Key Performance Indicators by ensuring timely delivery in line with global priorities.
- Install discipline in the way we steer and execute our change initiatives by applying global standards for managing change.

Working environment
ABN AMRO Clearing is a global leader in clearing, delivering integrated services in execution, custody, financing, and risk management across APAC, EU, and the US. With around 900 employees, it operates as a self-sufficient entity within ABN AMRO. The Technical Lead Product Owner drives the strategic vision and alignment of the IT cluster. Your cluster consists of three blocks, one of which you may be Product Owner of yourself. The cluster has a strong focus on innovation and cloud.
Blocks described in the cluster:
- Public Cloud Platform: provide a governed cloud platform built on AWS, secure, resilient, compliant and consumable for development teams while ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and enterprise policies.
- Private Cloud Platform: responsible for enhancing IT infrastructure and services using Red Hat OpenShift; focuses on containerization, automation, secure application development, CI/CD pipelines and developer collaboration.
- Infra Services: provides traditional hosting services up until the Operating System layer across on-premise environments, private cloud, and public cloud platforms; ensures the underlying infrastructure is maintained, compliant, and capable of supporting business and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- University-level thinking and reasoning and more than 5 years of experience providing advice from multiple disciplines.
- Proven leadership skills and experience as a sparring partner for senior management.
- Broad business knowledge and the ability to translate this into governance, data, processes, organization, and technology.
- Experience in an IT infrastructure or technology-driven environment is preferred.
- Proven track record in successfully realizing complex (Agile) change initiatives with organizational-wide impact.
- Proven knowledge and a vision on the use of databases in a corporate environment.
- Ability to drive execution of change control procedures and assess change performance against key performance benchmarks.
- Pragmatic, able to keep clear oversight within large change initiatives and realize concrete actions.
- Strong collaboration skills: able to connect stakeholders and drive smooth execution through change.

We are offering
- Gross monthly salary: € 7.896 - € 11.279 per month (based on a 36 hour work week; 40 hour work is also possible). This includes holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget.
