Details

You will build digital bridges between Eneco and its business partners, enabling energy data and services to flow securely between organisations. You will work with TypeScript, Azure, event-driven architecture, Terraform, REST APIs, messaging solutions, and CI/CD pipelines to create reliable and scalable B2B integrations that support the energy transition.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure, reusable, and scalable B2B integrations with partners.
Develop REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and messaging solutions in TypeScript on Azure.
Automate deployments and infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with business teams and partner organisations to translate integration needs into technical solutions.
Support new partners during the onboarding and integration process.
Maintain platform health through monitoring, testing, and automation.
Improve documentation and tooling used by other developers.
Own secure, well-documented B2B integrations that partners can build on.
Maintain available and performant APIs and event streams through a "you build it, you run it" approach.
Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Several years of experience building backend services, APIs, or integrations, with an interest in owning them end to end.
Experience with TypeScript, or strong development experience in another modern programming language and willingness to switch.
Cloud experience; Azure is a plus, while AWS or GCP experience is also relevant.
Understanding of event-driven architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
Ability to build systems that remain reliable under load.
Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to partners and business colleagues.
