Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Developer Experience and Product Platform organization provides a shared product platform across Stripe's UI and API surfaces.

The Extensibility program includes three interconnected primitives:

Scripts: A secure, isolated TypeScript runtime for customizing Stripe product behavior.
Custom Objects: User-defined data models with APIs, SDKs, and Dashboard experiences.
Workflows: A programmable orchestration layer supporting no-code and pro-code business logic, custom actions, delays, smart retries, and third-party integrations.

This role drives the Extensibility program across the Workflows, Custom Objects, and Scripts workstreams at the intersection of platform engineering, product management, and cross-organizational program ownership.

Responsibilities

Drive cross-organizational decisions across Script Platform, Custom Objects, Apps, SDK, Observability, Developer Experience, and Versioning teams.
Resolve ambiguous integration and ownership questions across team boundaries.
Own the critical path to major launches, shaping scope, driving descope decisions, and negotiating trade-offs across teams.
Influence product and engineering roadmaps by aligning team planning with the broader extensibility strategy.
Advocate for cross-cutting investments that individual teams may not prioritize independently.
Support Professional Services and Partnerships by ensuring their requirements are reflected in the roadmap.
Hold the bridge between platform capabilities and the needs of teams serving complex customers.

Requirements

5+ years of technical program management experience with demonstrated success driving complex, cross-organizational programs.
Strong product sense and the ability to understand enterprise customer needs.
Ability to communicate with precision and credibility across engineering, product, and executive audiences.
Ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into strategic decisions and drive alignment.
Experience leading and aligning cross-functional teams, driving decisions, resolving conflict, and building consensus across organizations with competing priorities.
Proven track record of successful program delivery in complex technical environments.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
