As a Technical Program Manager in Infrastructure, you will drive programs spanning multiple Stripe engineering organizations, focusing on internal platforms that power Stripe's products. You will partner with engineering and product management leaders to plan, communicate, and steer large-scale technical programs involving Service Infrastructure, frameworks, asynchronous platforms, tooling, company-wide refactoring, and architectural improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Define and produce high-quality written proposals, communications, and documentation.
  • Help define the frameworks, asynchronous platforms, and tooling used to write and operate Stripe products.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, Engineers, and other Technical Program Managers to define, scope, and drive large migration programs to completion.
  • Shape technical designs, predict technical roadblocks by collaborating with engineers, and identify trade-offs.
  • Develop, implement, and iterate on program management techniques, frameworks, and KPIs with well-defined success criteria.
  • Improve the execution capabilities of engineering teams and train them to improve delivery where needed.
  • Influence peers and stakeholders, build consensus, and work effectively with ambiguity.
  • Use data and acquired knowledge to drive strategic decisions at the engineering leadership level.
  • Create widely circulated plans that drive consistency, clarity, and alignment across teams.
  • Operationalize and execute critical cross-functional programs spanning Stripe engineering organizations.

  • Experience driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  • Experience operating autonomously and rapidly while leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, including stakeholders in different disciplines and time zones.
