The Workday Analyst will help enhance Benefits, Time Off, and Leave programs. The role focuses on HR technology, Workday system configuration, business process enhancements, custom reporting, troubleshooting, data quality, and collaboration with HR stakeholders and end users. The position is onsite in the New York City office four days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Workday functionality for Benefits, Leave, and Time Off plans, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and business stakeholders to develop system requirements and testing plans.
  • Research, analyze, and troubleshoot Workday issues.
  • Review and reconcile data from multiple sources, identify issues, and correct them.
  • Test and document break/fix changes and enhancements before migration to production.
  • Write custom Workday reports.
  • Partner with end users to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements while ensuring data quality.
  • Prioritize transactional and project-based work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and implement HR systems strategies and programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HR data security.
  • Perform additional duties or assignments as designated by management.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field is strongly preferred; applicable experience may also be considered.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on Workday experience, with proficiency in multiple Workday modules and a strong focus on Benefits Operations.
  • Proficiency in Core HCM, Benefits, Time Off, and Leaves modules.
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Workday Pro Certification is a plus.
  • Workday Prism experience is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
  • Flexible, self-directed, self-motivated, and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and understand and maintain HR data security.
