Details
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Developer to help shape and deliver a new solution that will enable the bank to conduct ad-hoc scenario analysis across multiple risk types.
You will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex risk and methodology requirements into a scalable, user-friendly product. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, IT, Finance, engineering teams, and senior leadership to guide the product from concept to launch and ensure it delivers real business value.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of a new platform focused on ad-hoc scenario analysis across multiple risk types.
- Translate business needs, requirements, and methodologies into clear technical specifications for the development team.
- Work closely with engineering teams to define priorities and design product features.
- Own the full product lifecycle, from ideation and design through delivery and launch.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Contribute to creating an intuitive, modern user experience for a complex analytical tool.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure successful execution.
- Work in an agile DevOps environment as part of a multidisciplinary business and IT team within the Financial Risk grid.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience.
- Solid understanding of product development and IT environments.
- Experience building applications with modern UI/UX design principles and visualisation of complex information content.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management.
- Ability to translate high-level business needs into specific requirements and corresponding concepts for data models, calculation logic, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Proven experience bringing a product from concept through to launch.
- Delivery-driven, with a focus on outcomes and impact.
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
- Passion for the field of expertise and strong analytical skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in agile, start-up-style environments focused on rapid delivery.
- Experience with stress testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Azure OpenAI.
Working Environment
The Financial Risk grid consists of approximately 350 colleagues responsible for areas including RWA calculations, credit risk models, IFRS9 provisions, risk classifications, stress testing and scenario analysis, and Distressed Client Management. Stakeholders span Risk Management, business functions, Finance, and other grids. You will work in cooperation with experienced fellow business developers.
