ABN AMRO is looking for an Azure DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, automate, and maintain Azure platform and infrastructure services. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, platform reliability, security, and operational excellence for critical banking applications across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines.
Manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services across multiple environments.
Support containerized workloads running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Manage Azure networking, connectivity, and hybrid-cloud integrations.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement through automation and self-service capabilities.
Collaborate with development teams, architects, security specialists, and platform engineers.
Contribute to Agile engineering communities, technical forums, and internal best-practice initiatives.

Requirements

Strong experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
Experience building and managing Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and automated build, release, and deployment processes.
Experience with Git and DevOps best practices.
Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Experience with Azure Entra ID, OAuth, SSO, Azure Key Vault, and CyberArk.
Knowledge of security, compliance, governance, and least-privilege principles.
Experience with VNET Integration, VNET Peering, Private Link Endpoints, DNS, firewall management, and hybrid Azure/on-premises connectivity.
Experience with ADLS, Blob Storage, and File Storage.
Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, Cosmos DB, and Neo4j.
Strong automation, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
Preferred: 5+ years of Azure Infrastructure or DevOps engineering experience, Azure certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400, or AZ-500, and experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.
