Details

At ABN AMRO Core Transactions, you will work on payment systems that handle millions of requests every day. You will help develop applications that connect modern technology with client and business needs while supporting the stability, security, and sustainability of the bank's payment processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and transform ABN AMRO's payment system landscape.
Develop applications and microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot 4.
Deploy and operate applications in the Azure cloud environment.
Work in a DevOps team responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, and software maintenance.
Automate and support business processes.
Ensure that crucial banking processes can be executed efficiently, securely, and sustainably.
Contribute to the entire payment chain within a multidisciplinary Agile team.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in Java development, using Java 17 or newer.
Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
Experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Azure and Azure DevOps.
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and JMeter.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS is beneficial.
A process-oriented approach.
Excellent communication skills.

Working Environment

You will join the Core Transactions department, part of the Personal & Business Banking business line. The multidisciplinary team works with an Agile mindset and is responsible for the entire payment chain. Openness, transparency, quality, and ownership are key values.

Gross monthly salary of €6,066 to €8,666, based on a 36-hour work week and including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget.
A 40-hour work week is also possible.
